      We will be moving to Bulgaria intially renting, with a view to buying later.

      What is the cost of living in Bulgaria compared to the UK?

        Hi Jess,

        Fellow Brits will discover that the cost of living is around 40% cheaper than the in United Kingdom. If you are retiring, your pension will go a long way.

        Here are some stats from Numbeo. For a family of 4 a budget of £1,600 a month will cover living costs (excluding rent). Rent in Buglaria is around 70% lower than the UK.
