Portugal › Legal & Visas › What visa options for Portugal are available to Brits?
Hi All,
My wife are looking to buy a property in Portugal, with a plan for extended stays. Basically spending more time in Portugal than here in the UK.
With the UK leaving the EU, what are my options for stays longer than 90 days in 180 days?
MK
Hi Mtieranis,
I went for a D7 visa
You can apply for a D7 visa if you have an income of atleast €1,000 per month. A D7 visa gives you the right to live in Portugal, but you will be required to stay at least 16 months in the country during the first 2-year period. You will need to make your application for a D7 Visa while you’re in the UK.
I hope this helps.
