      Hi All,

      What is a reasonable budget for an expat living in Thailand. The Phuket area in particular.

      Any guidance much appreciated.

        Numbeo suggests the cost of living for a family of 4 is around 1,490 GBP a month and 415 GBP for single person, without rent.

        Compared to London – cost of living is about 50% cheaper and rents are on average about 80% cheaper.

        Of course, this number increases if you have more expensive lifestyle requirements.
