      Hi All,

      I’ll be retiring in 5 years time with a modest pension. I’m hoping to move to the Algarve with my wife, but worried my pension and savings won’t be enough.

      Can someone give me an idea of how much I need to live comfortably in Portugal?

        Hi Aro,

        A middle income couple will be able to live comfortably in Portugal for around €1,700 per month. In cities like Lisbon can live on around €2,000 per month.
