      Hi all
      Newbie. I want to buy a place and live permanently in Bulgaria and have sufficient funds to support my wife and I.

      The plan is to start a software business in Bulgaria, initially with me being self employed. But hope to employ people as the business grows.

      Any guidance much appreciated

        A Freelancer Visa could be a good option for you. You’ll need to be reasonably proficient in Bulgarian.

        Another popular options is Trade Representative Office (TRO). You will need an incorporated company with at least 2 years history before your register for a TRO.
