      Hi,
      I’m a Brit looking into the E-2 and have a few questions.
      1. how long does it typically take once the DS-160 application has been submitted to getting an interview and then approval?
      2. Do I need an immigration lawyer or can I do myself?
      3. Do I need a professional to put together a business plan?
      4. An investment amount of $350K really the ideal minimum?
      5. What is the cost with and without an immigration lawyer?

        MOST OF THE HASSLE IS ACTUALLY GETTING AN APPOINTMENT

        2. Do I need an immigration lawyer or can I do myself?
        YOU DON’T ACTUALLY NEED AN IMMIGRATION LAWYER, BUT THEIR EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE NORMALLY MEANS LESS HASSLE AND POSSIBLY INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF SUCCESS

        3. Do I need a professional to put together a business plan?
        PERSONALLY, I DON’T THINK YOU NEED A PROFESSIONAL TO HELP YOU PUT YOUR BUSINESS PLAN TOGETHER. HOWEVER, THERE ARE EXPERTS WHO CAN SENSE CHECK THE PLAN

        4. An investment amount of $350K really the ideal minimum?
        SMALLER INVESTMENTS ARE LIKELY TO BE REJECTED, SO MORE IS BETTER

        5. What is the cost with and without an immigration lawyer?
        I’VE SEEN $20,000 FOR AN E2 ON OTHER FORUMS
