The set of houses of Hermitage is a complex of multifamily housing, consisting of two separate blocks of townhouses, located in Rua Visconde de Lagoa, near the hermitage of Santo Ant?nio, in the locality of Mexilhoeira da Carrega??o, Union of Estombar and Parchal, in the municipality of Lagoa.
This complex is located at the edge of the old hull of the locality of Mexilhoeira da Carrega??o, on the bank of the Arade River and next to the hermitage of Santo Ant?nio. This location determines the landscape importance of the housing complex, both by the proximity of the Hermitage, as the panoramic view of the river Arade and the visual contact with the city of Portim?o, since they are the houses of the Hermitage that make the front of Locality on the river’s nascent margin.
The housing set of the Ermida dwellings is implanted in a land with an area of about 6040m2, being its implantation area of 1098, 29M2, which is divided by two blocks. In total the set houses 10 fires, six in block A and four in block B.
Access to the complex is done through Rua Visconde de Lagoa, which after an outside area of entrance, connects to the common garage in block A, allowing both pedestrian and automobile circulation. The two blocks are joined together, through a continuous route, since to get to block B has to cross block A. The circulation allows a movement that crosses all the space.
in all, there are 21 parking spaces, of which thirteen are inserted in the garage located in block A, and eight in an outer space next to block B.
Access to the fires that constitute block A, is held through a gallery, both at the level of the Floor 0 as floor-1. This block is also equipped with elevator that connects the existing parking in the basement to the gallery of access to fires.
to access block B, was created a paved route of Sienito Monchique, which serves vehicles and pedestrians, which travels through the outer space, circling the hermitage and opening up to the river Arade.
in the exterior arrangements the preservation of the existing natural space, maintaining its beauty and purity, is one of the main objectives, giving the lot of secondary paths in clay that will have a playful and recreational function for the residents.
There will also be some landscaped spaces, placed along the circuit that connects the two blocks, generating a greater renaturalization of space and contributing to a better quality of space and consequently of the lives of the residents.
